Nakheel has unveiled Bay Estate, a planned gated waterfront residential community at Dubai Islands, expanding the range of homes being introduced within the coastal destination.
The development is set to include about 360 three- and four-bedroom residences, as well as beachfront and waterfront plots. According to Nakheel, the estate’s masterplan provides for 2.4km of beachfront and 6.5km of waterfront, placing daily outdoor access at the centre of the proposed community layout.
Planned amenities include a beach club, clubhouse, marina facilities, retail space, and wellness and sports areas. For families, the gated format and mix of home types may offer another option for buyers seeking a waterfront setting with on-site leisure and everyday services.
For investors and apartment buyers tracking Dubai Islands, the announcement is another indication of continued master-developer activity across the destination. Although Bay Estate is focused on larger homes and plots rather than apartments, new residential and amenity components can broaden the appeal of the wider waterfront district and support its evolution as a year-round place to live.
